If your home feels stuck in endless friction or disconnection or when a big life transition throws you completely off balance you don't have to navigate it alone. I’m Kim Robinson, founder of Grow Through It Christian Family Coaching. As a Certified Life Coach (IBCC) and ICF-trained practitioner in child development and parent coaching, I help parents move from chaos to calm. Together, we blend developmental science, practical tools, and a foundation of faith to resolve conflict and cultivate lasting connection, confidence, and peace in your family.
About Me
-
My calling comes from my personal story. I’m a mom to a young adult daughter, and I’ve walked through every stage of parenting, from the early years to the school‑age years, the teen years, and now the young‑adult season. I’ve also experienced divorce both as a child and later as an adult. Those experiences deepened my empathy and shaped the way I support families, with compassion, clarity, and a steady, grounded presence.
My faith deepened later in life, and it transformed the way I understand parenting, identity, and emotional development. I believe every person has God‑given strengths, potential, and purpose. My role is to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, strengthen your relationships, and guide your family toward emotional and relational development that builds peace and helps you restore it when needed.
-
I envision families who face challenges with honesty and intention, addressing them early rather than allowing quiet patterns, hurt, or disconnection to grow and affect everyone long‑term. My vision is for families to develop emotional and spiritual resilience that strengthens relationships across every season of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. I see families growing with clarity, faith, and support; building healthier patterns, restoring connection, and moving forward together with confidence and hope.

There are many coaches and programs out there. Here’s what makes working with me different:
I coach to your family’s goals and vision, whether I’m working with one parent or several family members.
I help the people involved in the change get clear on the vision, align around it, and grow toward the full potential of what your family is working to build.
I blend faith, development, and practical tools. These work together to support true growth, lasting change, and deep understanding.
I use a clear, visual framework that brings clarity to overwhelming seasons. The Grow Through It Framework helps families see what’s supporting growth and what’s getting in the way. I also adjust the coaching to be age appropriate based on four distinct age groups.
I bring a strong Learning & Development background to how I coach. I understand how people learn, communicate, and change, which helps me translate complex patterns into clear, meaningful insights families can actually use.
I have a background as a Child Development Associate (CDA)‑certified preschool teacher. I understand how young children grow, communicate, and respond to their environment, which helps me support parents with developmentally aligned, compassionate guidance.
I understand what it’s like to live with and without faith. My coaching is shaped by real experience, deep empathy, and a clear understanding of how faith transforms the way people think, grow, heal, and move forward.
I create a safe, supportive space for honest conversations. Coaching is relational, compassionate, and focused on helping families to create and sustain the best environment for nuturing their desired vision.
I am certified in Mental Health First Aid – trained to recognize signs of mental distress and provide initial support with compassion and confidence.
